We Build on Elementor. We Support Everything Else.
Rise Local’s production stack is Elementor Pro on ZoneDock hosting. That’s where we build new sites and produce pages at scale. It’s what we know best and what we recommend for new builds.
But we know that’s not what every business is running. If your site was built on Divi, Breakdance, Beaver Builder, Oxygen, a commercial theme like Astra or GeneratePress, or a fully custom PHP theme — we can still work with it.
We optimize it. We maintain it. We fix what’s broken. We add pages and content within your existing framework. And when you’re ready, we can migrate it to Elementor on ZoneDock — preserving your content, your URLs, and your search equity.
Rise Local doesn’t refuse to work with a site because it’s not on our preferred builder. We meet you where you are and make what you have work better.

BUILDERS WE SUPPORTElegant Themes
Divi
Divi is one of the most widely used WordPress builders — installed on millions of sites. It's powerful and flexible but produces heavier page output than modern alternatives. Common Divi issues we fix:
- → Page speed — Divi's default CSS and JS loading is heavy. We optimize render-blocking resources, enable dynamic CSS generation, and configure server-level caching specifically for Divi's rendering.
- → Layout inconsistencies — Divi's visual builder sometimes produces unexpected results on mobile. We fix responsive breakpoints and test across devices.
- → Plugin conflicts — Divi's built-in modules sometimes conflict with third-party plugins. We diagnose and resolve.
- → Updates — Divi pushes frequent updates that can break layouts. We test updates on staging before deploying to production.
If your Divi site is working and you’re happy with it, we optimize and maintain it. If it’s causing problems, we can rebuild in Elementor with a full content migration.
Breakdance
Breakdance is a newer builder gaining traction — lightweight, developer-friendly, and performance-focused. Rise Local supports Breakdance sites:
- → Performance tuning — Breakdance is already lighter than Divi or Elementor out of the box. We optimize the server stack to match.
- → Custom development — Breakdance's code-friendly architecture allows custom CSS and JS integration. Joe can extend Breakdance builds with custom functionality.
- → Content additions — New pages, new sections, and content updates within the Breakdance framework.
Breakdance is a solid builder. If your site is on it and performing well, there’s no urgent reason to migrate.
Beaver Builder
Beaver Builder has been around since 2014 — stable, reliable, and used by developers who prefer a cleaner approach than Divi. We support Beaver Builder sites with optimization, maintenance, and content additions. Migration to Elementor available when you're ready.
Oxygen
Oxygen is the most developer-focused builder — it replaces the WordPress theme entirely and gives full code-level control. Oxygen sites tend to be fast but require developer expertise for any changes. Rise Local's team can maintain and extend Oxygen builds.
GeneratePress / Kadence / Astra
Lightweight Themes
These are theme-first approaches — lightweight themes that use the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) or pair with a page builder. They produce very clean output and are excellent for performance. We optimize, maintain, and add content to sites running any of these themes. If you're on GeneratePress or Kadence and performance is good, there's no reason to migrate.
Custom PHP Themes
If your site runs on a custom-built PHP theme — no page builder, no commercial theme framework — we can still work with it.
- → Template modifications and new page templates
- → Custom post type development
- → Theme function updates and hook customization
- → Child theme creation for safe customization
- → PHP 8.x compatibility updates
- → Security hardening and code review
- → API integrations and custom functionality
Custom PHP themes are powerful but require developer involvement for every change. If you're spending money on a developer for every content update, a migration to Elementor may save you money long-term by enabling non-developer content production.
WPBakery
Visual Composer
WPBakery is legacy at this point — still on millions of sites but no longer a recommended platform. If your site runs on WPBakery, we strongly recommend migration to Elementor. We handle the full migration including content transfer, URL preservation, and redirect mapping.
Regardless of Your Builder, the Fundamentals Are the Same.
Rise Local builds local SEO with AI visibility built in from the start:
→ Performance Optimization
Server-level speed tuning, PHP updates, database optimization, image compression, render-blocking resource management. Builder-agnostic.
→ Core Web Vitals
LCP, INP, CLS optimization. Some builders make this harder than others, but the server-level work applies to all of them.
→ Schema Markup
JSON-LD deployment across every page. Builder-independent — schema is added via custom code, not builder widgets.
SSL, WAF, malware scanning, daily backups. Server-level, not plugin-level.
→ Content Publishing
Updates, compatibility testing, conflict resolution. Tested on staging before production deployment.
→ Plugin Management
Updates, compatibility testing, conflict resolution. Tested on staging before production deployment.
→ Hosting on ZoneDock
Any WordPress builder runs faster on ZoneDock than on shared hosting. LiteSpeed caching works with Elementor, Divi, Breakdance, Beaver Builder, and custom themes.
HONEST ADVICE
Stay on your current builder if:
→ Your site performs well (CWV passing, loads under 3 seconds)
→ Your builder is actively maintained and receiving updates
→ Your team or agency can produce content within the existing framework
→ The cost of migration outweighs the performance gain
When It Makes Sense to Switch — And When It Doesn't.
Consider migrating to Elementor if:
→ Your site is slow and the builder is the bottleneck (Divi and WPBakery are common culprits)
→ You’re paying a developer for every content change because the builder requires code-level access (custom PHP themes, Oxygen)
→ Your builder is no longer actively maintained or supported
→ You’re rebuilding the site anyway for other reasons (repositioning, redesign, new content architecture)
→ You want to scale content production — Elementor’s template and kit system enables non-developers to produce pages at scale
Rise Local never recommends migration for the sake of migration. If your current builder is working, we optimize it. If it’s not, we explain why migration makes sense and handle the full process.
