We Come To Your Market.
Three offices. Teams on the ground in DFW, East Texas, and Houston. When you’re a client, we show up — at your office, your jobsite, or wherever it makes sense to meet.

Most agencies will tell you they ‘serve’ your market. What they mean is a webpage with your city name on it. Rise Local is different. We have people in your region — not virtual assistants, not account managers in another state. Actual team members who live and work in the communities we serve, available to meet you face to face when that’s what the relationship calls for. Authenticity isn’t a marketing angle for us. It’s the only way the work gets done right
Three Regions. Real People On the Ground.
Service-area businesses have different marketing needs than retail stores or e-commerce sites. Most marketing agencies don’t understand that. Rise Local does.

Dallas–Fort Worth
Mike and the core DFW team cover the full metroplex — Southlake, mid-cities, Dallas proper, and Collin County. The team travels throughout DFW when clients respect the time and process involved in building a real working relationship.

East Texas
Rise Local has team members living and working in East Texas. Not a market we’re reaching into from DFW — one we’re actually operating inside. No DFW agency has people between Dallas and Houston. That’s a genuine differentiator.

Houston Metro
The Conroe office is anchored by team members who live in the Houston metro. The Woodlands market alone is one of the highest-income suburban corridors in Texas — thousands of professional service businesses that need real marketing systems.

Where We Can Show Up In Person.
These aren’t just pages with a city name. They’re markets where Rise Local has a team member within driving distance. Cities in bold have dedicated location pages.

We Show Up When It Matters.
01. Strategy call first.
We start with a conversation about your business, your market, and what a real result looks like for you. No pitch deck. No proposal before we've understood what you actually need.
02. Right fit, then relationship.
We only work with good owners, direct — no middle man, no account manager between you and the people doing the work. The relationship has to be right before the work can be right.
03. On-site when it adds value.
System reviews, kickoffs, quarterly check-ins — we come to you when being there makes the work better, not just to log a touchpoint. Your office, your jobsite, wherever makes sense.
04. You own everything we build.
Domain, website, GBP, content — yours from day one. We earn your business every month because the systems we build actually work, not because leaving is painful.
"We grew up in this room."
Mike went straight from high school into the directional media marketing industry — Verizon Information Services, Verizon Yellow Pages, SuperPages.com. Nine years learning how local businesses win and lose visibility from the inside, not from a deck.
The co-founder John O’Grady ran internet operations for SuperPages.com at the same company — same building, different department. Army combat medic before that. Bosnia deployment. SMU Cox MBA. He builds infrastructure, not presentations.
When they reconnected at Kauffman Labs in Kansas City in 2013, they weren’t two marketers starting an agency. They were two operators who’d both spent years watching the same problem — local businesses paying for disconnected services from people who weren’t accountable for results.
That’s why Rise Local doesn’t use account managers, doesn’t outsource, doesn’t hold your assets hostage, and doesn’t work with owners who aren’t willing to show up for the relationship the way we do. Authenticity isn’t a brand value we wrote on a slide. It’s the thing that makes the work possible in the first place.
